Leeds City College played our part at the 2011 Great Yorkshire Show

Leeds City College played our part at the 2011 Great Yorkshire Show, assisting with the running of the Game Cookery Theatre and running an adjacent stall. This was a great opportunity for some of our high-achieving Professional Cookery students to work alongside celebrity chefs such as Rosemary Shrager (Swinton Park, Ladette to Lady, The Alan Titchmarsh Show) and Andrew Pern (Star Inn at Harome, Great British Menu finalist) in the performance area, and for Farthings to raise awareness in the stall next door. We ran a prize draw each day of the Show, which offered a free meal for 2 at Farthings at our next game-themed evening. The winners were:
Natalie Wright of Leeds (Tuesday)
Bernadette Danby of Leeds (Wednesday)
And
Mathew Jackson of Bradford (Thursday)
Congratulations to them and we look forwarding to welcoming the winners and indeed all the other new friends we made!
